Moderate Weather Forecast Across Jordan Through Monday

Amman, May 26 (Petra) -- The weather is expected to be moderate in most parts of Jordan and warm at the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with clouds forming at medium and high altitudes.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) reported that the winds are expected to be northwesterly and moderate, stirring dust, especially in arid areas.
On Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise, accompanied by dusty weather. It would be warmer in most regions of the Kingdom, with rain showers expected to fall in different parts of the country. The winds would be southeasterly brisk, turning in the evening to southwesterly with strong gusts sometimes exceeding 60 km/h.
Temperatures are expected to drop on Sunday, bringing the temperatures down to be moderate in high-lying areas and relatively warm in the rest of the regions, with the chance of rain showers across the country, including Aqaba.
Today's temperatures will range between 28 and 13 degrees Celsius in Amman, and the city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 38C and lows of 24C.
