(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine will use existing and newly-arriving weapons when liberating temporarily occupied territories so the expulsion of Russian invaders is just a matter of time. That's according to Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security Council, who spoke at the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We will use the entire arsenal that we have at our disposal. The new weapons produced by our defense industry will also definitely be employed. And it does not matter – be it Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, or other cities: we will expel (the invaders - ed.) from there. That's for sure. It is only a matter of time," Danilov stressed.
Read also: reznikov, geoană discuss modernization of defense procurement in ukraine As Ukrinform reported earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said in an interview with Fox News that the Ukrainian authorities were currently focused on preparing a counteroffensive to liberate their territories from Russian invaders.
Currently, none of the paths to liberating Russia-occupied Crimea is ruled out, while the diplomatic efforts could complement the military ones, said Deputy Head of the President's Office, Ihor Zhovkva.
