(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Police opened fire on a car which failed to stop after being ordered to do so in Polgahawela.
The Police had ordered the vehicle to stop at a road checkpoint.
According to the Police, the driver of the vehicle had not stopped the vehicle.
Police officers opened fire targeting the vehicle.
Three occupants in the car were arrested following the incident. (Colombo Gazette)
