Saudi Red Sea Authority welcomes Yacht Captains to Jeddah for F1 weekend

The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) welcomed Yacht Captains, crew, and industry representatives to an essential briefing session ahead of the Saudi Arabia F١ Grand Prix this weekend.

As the national regulator for navigational and tourism activities of cruises and yachts in the Kingdom’s Red Sea waters, SRSA is committed to engaging with stakeholders across the sector, providing timely, relevant updates, and ensuring operators and users have access to the information they need when visiting the Kingdom.

Mohammed Al-Asiri, Acting CEO of Saudi Red Sea Authority, said being able to welcome tourism operators to the Kingdom, and engaging with them on the work of the authority, was more than just showcasing exceptional Saudi hospitality, it was essential to the ongoing development and delivery of the national strategy.

“We sit at the intersection of numerous sectors including coastal tourism, environmental protection, investment, sport and culture, and logistics,” Mr. Al-Asiri said.

“Our comprehensive strategy will chart the path for a prosperous future that preserves our pristine natural environment and supports thriving businesses, industry, and our communities. It is critical that we continue engage with sector representatives on to get their feedback and address any issues.”
