MANAMA, Feb 21 (KUNA) -- A Bahrain-based humanitarian award is tantamount to an emblem of 'giving,' Kuwait's ambassador to the Gulf Arab kingdom Thamer Al-Sabah said on Tuesday, hailing the prize as an acknowledgment of some notable acts of generosity.
The sheikh Isa Award for Service and Humanity aims to shine light on individuals who have left an 'indelible mark' on people's lives, the Kuwaiti diplomat told KUNA on the sidelines of the award ceremony.
He went on to applaud Manama for its contributions towards humanitarian causes, saying such awards have become commonplace across the wider Gulf Arab region. (end) kna.nam
