Kuwait's KRCS: 42 Tons Of Medical Supplies To Turkiye's Earthquake Victims


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) announced on Saturday that 42 tons of medical supplies were sent to those affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Turkiye recently.
Speaking to KUNA, KRCS's Chairman Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer said that the current batch of supplies was part of Kuwait's overall campaign to aid those affected by the devastating earthquake, which hit southern Turkiye and northern Syria last Monday.
Al-Sayer commended the assistance provided by both the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs to the KRCS in this humanitarian campaign.
He reiterated calls towards civil society and private sector to up support towards the current 'Kuwait by Your Side' humanitarian campaign, revealing that the KRCS had already sent 100 tons of aid to Turkiye. (end)
