Drone Explodes Near Russian City Of Kaluga


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A drone exploded near the Russian city of Kaluga, without causing any injuries.
Regional governor Vladislav Shapsha said the drone exploded in the air at an altitude of 50 metres near Kaluga, but there was no damage to civil and social facilities or injuries, Russian news agency Sputnik reported.
The regional governor of Kaluga, which is about 150 km southwest of Moscow and 260 km from the Ukrainian border, assured that staff of law enforcement agencies reached the scene, without disclosing more details.
In December, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that three soldiers were killed and four others were injured after drones intercepted by the Russian air defense systems fell at a military airport.
