A man involved in an attempted armed robbery of a jewelry store in the Metro Mall shopping center,
in Cerro Viento-San Miguelito, was shot and killed by a security guard on Tuesday evening January 31.
Two other would-be robbers fled through the back of the shopping center where, after a chase, they were captured.
The Primary Care Section of the San Miguelito Regional Prosecutor's Office began an investigation after the robbery.
