Srinagar- An elderly man on Tuesday was knocked to death by a passenger bus in Lolab area of North Kashmir's Kupwara district.
60-year-old Abdul Khaliq Chopan man sustained critical injuries after a bus (JK05- 2766) hit him in the Lolab area of the district on Tuesday evening, reports said.
Chopan was immediately evacuated to Sub-district hospital (SDH) Sogam for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead, reports said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the accident and taken up further investigations in this regard.
