Deputy Speaker Of Shura Council Meets With Delegation Of Russian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, January 10, 2023, SPA -- Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mishal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, today at the council headquarters in Riyadh, met with President of the Russian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee and Deputy Chair of the Committee for Agricultural and Food Policy and Environmental Management at the Russian Federation Council Belan Khamchiev and his accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting went over the bilateral parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Federation Council, and discussed means to develop these ties in various fields, where the two sides stressed the importance of the parliamentary diplomacy as a main factor in enhancing relations between the two countries.
Several members of the Shura Council and Federation Council attended the meeting, along with the Saudi Ambassador to the Russian Federation Abdulrahman Al-Ahmad and Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sergei Kozlov.
