Sumy Region Struck With 28 Russian Projectiles


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On December 13, 2022, Russian troops fired 28 projectiles at three border communities in the Sumy region.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, using an unmanned aerial vehicle, Russians dropped two explosive items on the Khotin community.

The Bilopillia community was struck with mortars. Eight explosions were recorded.

Additionally, the enemy fired 18 projectiles with self-propelled artillery on the Esman community.

According to Zhyvytskyi, Russian projectiles caused damage to a fire station and a vehicle parked there. A village hall was also affected.

A reminder that, according to the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service, Russia has attacked the Sumy region and the Chernihiv region 70 times since early December 2022. In November 2022, the enemy opened fire on Ukraine's border areas 230 times.
