SPA Conference Center Witnesses Graduation Of 159 Female Leaders Representing 17 Countries From Qiyadat Global Program-Georgetown 2022


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Dec 8, 2022, SPA -- Qiyadat Global-Georgetown: A Women's Leadership Program 2022, in partnership with Georgetown University (McDonough School of Business), celebrated this evening the graduation of more than 159 female leaders, representing 17 countries in the world, who completed the academic program to develop leadership skills for women and enable them to fulfill the requirements of work in leadership positions.
The graduation ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Conference Center in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of Ambassadors of countries accredited to the Kingdom and senior officials from the government sector and Georgetown University,
The founder and general supervisor of Georgetown Qiyadat Global Program, Nouf bint Abdullah Al-Rakan, delivered a speech in which she said, 'This year marks the second year of the Qiyadat Global Program, which we started during the Kingdom's presidency of the Group of Twenty, amid the coronavirus pandemic and many challenges, but our strength, flexibility and determination our success has helped us reach more than 200 women from all over the world.'
She expressed her pride in being in a country where the empowerment of women is at the core of its social and economic development, given the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
For her part, Professor Evelyn Williams, the academic chairwoman of Georgetown University's leadership program, delivered the Georgetown University's speech, expressing her happiness to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the first Arab country in the Middle East, adding, 'We are proud of this partnership to implement the Georgetown University Qiyadat Global Program for the second year.'
It is worth mentioning that Qiyadat Global Program - Georgetown is a program to develop the skills of women leaders and is implemented in cooperation between the Global Leadership Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Georgetown University in the United States of America, in response to the high demand for organizations to develop leadership skills for female employees, and to develop leadership skills for female leaders.
