Iran provides around 57,000 hectares of land for National Housing Plan


(MENAFN) A board member of the National Land and Housing Organization declared that around 57,000 hectares of land within the borders of the towns has been supplied for the National Housing Movement scheme.

Arsalan Maleki also stated that the private industry owners in districts with land deficiencies could partake in the National Housing Movement to supply land.

National Housing Movement to build four million housing units in four years is one of the main programs of the ongoing administration in the housing industry.

In line with the plan, out of these four million residential units, 3.2 million units is going to be built in towns while the other 800,000 units in villages, some of these units are presently being built after supplying lands and arranging the needed conditions.

Previously in November, Hadi Abbasi-Asl, the deputy minister of transport and urban development, declared that right now, more than one million units of the National Housing Movement are being established with average growth of nearly 30 percent.
