QU Signs Mou With Education Above All

Doha: Qatar University (QU) and Education Above All (EAA) signed an Agreement to develop and enhance joint cooperation and utilize their common potentials in the areas related EAA's program 'Al Fakhoora' titled Qatar Scholarship Programme.

The agreement was signed by QU's Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Eiman Mustafawi and EAA Programme Director, Talal Al Hothal. Through this agreement, the two parties aim to establish a cadre of non-Qatari youth in Qatar from underserved backgrounds empowered by quality academic programs, capacity development, and support systems, making meaningful contributions in Qatar and globally.

Dr. Eiman Mustafawi said during the signing,“We are pleased to sign this agreement with Education Above All, which will benefit Qatar University students. We are always keen to provide the best educational opportunities for our students and through this program we will work to support these students as well as work on various other areas of common interest to both parties.” 

For his part, Talal Al Hothal said,“So far the program has provided 125 scholarships to students inside the State of Qatar from various universities, with the support of the General Directorate of Endowment. Thanks to this scholarship programme, Education Above All aims to provide educational opportunities to create a future for all students. We are working with our partners such as Qatar University, to provide support and create fair educational opportunities that allow all students to access quality education.”
