Sumy Region's Community Comes Under Enemy Fire, Five Houses Damaged


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At least five residential houses have been damaged in Russia's shelling of the Sumy region's Yunakivka community.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi on , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Yunakivka community has come under enemy fire today. Russians struck the border areas with self-propelled artillery. Ten projectiles exploded close to civilian homes. At least five houses were damaged: roofs, windows and fences were broken. Shell fragments also caused damage to household buildings,” Zhyvytskyi wrote.

In his words, no casualties among civilians were reported.

A reminder that, on November 14, 2022, Russian troops struck an enterprise in the Sumy region. Nineteen explosions were recorded, and three workers were reported injured.
