India Craft Week scheduled from Oct 20-23 in New Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 6 (KNN) Social enterprise Craft Village supported by World Craft Council is hosting the India Craft Week (ICW) in New Delhi from October 20 to 23, 2022.
The three day event is considered as one of India's second-largest craft week in the world after its international counterpart London Craft Week.
ICW is a liberated initiative which aims to bridge India's iconic heritage, skilled craft-people, independent makers, and contemporary brands, allowing them to narrate their untold stories.
It brings Indian artisan, designer, & luxury brand on a single platform.
The showcase this year brings a community of over 50 crafts persons, Makers, Craft Brands, Museums, Organizations, and figureheads.
It intends to embrace multiple artistic genres as it includes live demonstrations, master classes, cross-talks, installations, galleries, and film screenings.
The theme for this year is based on one of the most important elements of life, water.
ICW will also host its 5th and 6th edition International Craft Awards together to recognize and celebrate exceptional accomplishments
8-rare and exclusive Craft Workshops by Padma Shri, National and International Award Winners in the fields of Textiles, Paintings, Block Printings, and more.
