Sebastien Loeb said: “It was a complicated day for us. After 20km we had a broken wishbone on the front and had to change it in the stage. We lost a lot of time with this, then we had a puncture, and another puncture near the end. We finished without changing the wheel, and lost more time than if we’d stopped to change it. That’s how it is. Not a good day for us.”
Guerlain Chicherit; “It was a really long stage, really tough and I was amazed by what I can do with the car because I understood during the stage where I can push even more. Step by step, I understood the limit was far more than what I was expecting. So you get confidence, and I knew we had a good pace. But in the last 80 kms we had two punctures and lost four minutes plus for sure. But anyway, we know we have good speed. We know the car can make it.”
Orly Terranova; “It was difficult for us. We made a navigation mistake after 16km, and lost several minutes. After 23 km we had a puncture, and then on the beach we were doing 170 and one tyre exploded. After that we had to drive more than 200km with no spare.
