Beirut, Aug 15 (Petra) -- The Lebanese Foreign Ministry Monday said it is lodging a complaint with the UN Security Council against Israel for using Lebanese airspace to attack Syria last night.
It condemned in a statement the Israeli attack on Syria, which took place Sunday night, warning of the consequences of the continued violation of Lebanon's sovereignty 'in flagrant violation of international law and treaties.'
The Foreign Ministry noted that it is 'filing a complaint with the Security Council, asking it to intervene seriously to put an end to these ongoing Israeli violations.'
