Dubai – 15 August 2022: LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort has started its search in the UAE for the next official Junior Reporters*, offering 4 young UAE residents aged 6-11 years old, a golden opportunity to live their dream of becoming real reporters. The role of ‘LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort- Junior Reporter’ will allow children to report first-hand from events taking place at LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, featuring LEGOLAND® Dubai theme park, LEGOLAND® Water Park and the region’s only LEGOLAND® Hotel, covering Halloween, UAE National Day celebration, Festive season, Chinese New Year, VIP Experience and more.
To extend the fun even further, every Junior Reporter will win four LEGOLAND Dubai Annual Passes for his/her family to enjoy 12 months of awesomeness, covering unlimited entries to LEGOLAND Dubai theme park with its 40 rides and attractions and LEGOLAND Water Park with its 20 waterslides and attractions, including food, beverage and retail discounts at both LEGOLAND Parks and more. Furthermore, the new Junior Reporters will receive an official certificate at the end of their LEGOLAND® adventure, presented by LEGOLAND Dubai Resort senior management as a token of appreciation.
All young UAE residents, speaking English or Arabic aged 6-11 years are welcome to submit a 30-40 sec. video in English or Arabic demonstrating ‘Why they would be awesome as a Junior Reporter’ and upload it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ImAJuniorReporter or e-mail it to SocialMediaDXB@legoland.ae no later than midnight of Monday, 29. August 2022.
An official LEGOLAND Dubai Resort Jury will select four candidates out of the shortlisted applicants, based on several criteria including creativity and engagement. On 7. September, four successful candidates will be named as the new ‘LEGOLAND Dubai Resort - Junior Reporters’, starting an awesome LEGOLAND adventure that will last for one full year.
Loads of events, ongoing activities together with 60 rides, attractions and building adventures spread across LEGOLAND Dubai theme park and LEGOLAND Water Park as well as LEGOLAND Hotel - await the new Junior Reporters, to experience and re-introduce to all LEGOLAND Dubai Resort fans across the world through the social media and Youtube accounts of LEGOLAND Dubai Resort.
The search for ‘LEGOLAND Dubai Resort- Junior Reporters’ takes place from 15. August to 29. August 2022. All entries must have the #ImaJuniorReporter hashtag and be uploaded on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or be emailed to socialmediadxb@legoland.ae no later than midnight of 29. August 2022. Entries received after this date will be disregarded. All entries must be submitted in English or Arabic. Candidates must be UAE residents and aged 6 to 11 years old. Proof of age may be required. Any candidate fails to adhere any of the terms and conditions will be disqualified. Successful candidates will be contacted and must receive the prize within 5 days or will be eliminated. The selected Junior Reporters must commit to attend at least 6 events at LEGOLAND Dubai Resort events in 2022/2023. Junior Reporter’s guardians to provide written consent to be filmed and photographed to be used for public relations and marketing collateral. The prize of 4 Annual Passes for every successful candidate is used only by the candidate’s family and is strictly non-transferable to another person and cannot be redeemed for monetary value. The Annual Passes are applicable at LEGOLAND Dubai theme park and LEGOLAND Water Park only. Further terms and conditions will apply upon receipt of official prize vouchers.
