Panama's Third Case Of Monkeypox Detected In Arraiján

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported on Saturday, August 13, that the third case of monkeypox has been detected in the country. This is a 33-year-old man residing in the district of Arraiján, province of Panamá Oeste who presented symptoms on August 7. On August 9, the patient presented skin lesions and on August 12 he went to the Artemio Jaén health center where the samples were sent to the Gorgas Commemorative Institute for Health Studies.
