Nine Civilians Killed In Russia's Shelling Of Donetsk Region In Past 24H


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the Donetsk region, 9 civilians were killed and 25 more were injured as a result of Russian aggression in the past 24 hours.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

“On July 3, Russians killed nine civilians in the Donetsk region: six in Sloviansk, one in Avdiivka, one in Bakhmut, and one in Zaitseve. Among those killed were two children: one in Sloviansk and one in Zaitseve. Another 25 people were injured,' reads the report.

According to Kyrylenko, 'it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.'

'The Russians will bear responsibility for every crime on our land,' the governor stressed.

As reported, on July 3, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Sloviansk, up to 15 fires broke out in the city.

On February 24, Russia began a new stage of the war against Ukraine - a full-scale invasion. The Russian forces have been shelling and bombarding Ukrainian cities, towns and villages.
