Minister Of Hajj And Umrah To Inaugurate Activities Of Grand Hajj Symposium In Its 46Th Edition


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Makkah, July 03, 2022, SPA -- The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, will inaugurate the 46th edition of the Grand Hajj Symposium, entitled 'Hajj after the Pandemic... Ritual and Care', in the presence of a group of scholars and intellectuals, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arab and Islamic countries.
The work of the symposium, which will kick off today and last for two days, with Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, who will speak at the opening session of the symposium, entitled 'From Hajj to the World,' in addition to the President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais; the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments in Algeria Youssef Belmahdi; the Minister of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony in Pakistan Mufti Abdul Shakoor; the Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places of the Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Khalayleh, and the session will be moderated by the Advisor at the Royal Court, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah aims to highlight the cultural and civilizational role that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has played in serving Hajj and pilgrims since the inception of the Kingdom, and to highlight the most important achievements, pioneering projects and successive developments in the holy sites to serve Muslims.
