Turkey detains 10 suspects alleged to have relations with Daesh/ISIS

(MENAFN) More than 10 foreign nationals were detained Wednesday in an action against the Daesh/ISIS terrorist association in Turkey’s Adana region.

Police launched actions to detain suspects who are alleged to have relations to Daesh/ISIS in Syria, according to security sources on condition of anonymity because of sanctions on speaking to the media.

The suspects were detained at numerous addresses through the area.

Turkey was one of the first nations to announce Daesh/ISIS as a terror group.

The nation has since been struck numerous times by the terror association, which has carried out more than 10 suicide bombings, seven bomb outbreaks and four armed attacks, murdering 315 people and wounding hundreds more.

In reply, Turkey started anti-terror actions at home and abroad to stop additional attacks.
