The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced the killing of a security guard of the Qatari embassy in France while he was performing his duties on Monday morning. In a statement, the ministry said that it had received the news with great sadness and affirmed its full confidence in the justice procedures initiated by the competent French authorities after they arrested the suspect, and noted that it is awaiting the results of the investigations. The ministry expressed Qatar's condolences to the family of the deceased, and reiterated its firm position rejecting criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.
