Guga Rocha to cook in Dubai with ingredients from Pampa

São Paulo – Brazilian chef Guga Rocha will perform a cooking show on Thursday (17) in Brazil Pavilion at the world exhibition expo 2020 Dubai. The event taking place at 4:30 pm (GST) will present the cuisine from the Pampa biome in South Brazil. Rocha will cook recipes live.

This will be the last of a series of cooking shows that the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) holds at Expo 2020 Dubai to showcase the ingredients of different biomes of Brazil. Apex-Brasil proposed to Brazilian chefs to cook dishes with food items from each region and add something of the Emirati cuisine to them, thus showing that you can use products from Brazil in other countries.

As per information made public by ApexBrasil, Guga Rocha is a world-renowned Brazilian chef with a creative, innovative approach that results from his passion for the Brazilian culture and traditions and his love for the world cuisine. In his website, the chef says he has experiences in over 30 countries and researches in different regions of Brazil.“Brazil in the roots and the world in the head,” his website reads.

Guga Rocha is also a TV host and author, with several published cookbooks. The recipes he'll cook during the exhibition will be tasted by the audience. The participants are a limited number of guests. Expo 2020 Dubai ends on March 31, after six months of operation.
