Palestinian warns to burn himself due to Israeli expulsion command

(MENAFN) A Palestinian warned to burn himself and his family in complaint over an Israeli exile command.

Israeli municipal authorities ordered to drive out Mahmoud al-Salihiya and his family from their house and a plant kindergarten in Jerusalem’s sheikh Jarrah neighborhood to construct a school there.

Israeli militaries planned to evacuate the nursery plant by force, and asked to leave the house, then Mahmoud jumped to the roof of the house and warned to burn himself and his family.

Mahmoud yelled and carried a container of gasoline “We will not leave here, either we die or we live," while clarifying “The (Israeli) municipality wants to remove a family from their home in order to set up schools. Who are the schools for? Schools for them, for the Jews."

He also cautioned "Whoever approaches, I will burn the house which is full of gas pipes, and I will bomb the house with whoever inside."
