Iran, Saudi Arabia revive political relations


(MENAFN) In accordance to an Iranian politician, Iran and Saudi Arabia are arranging to revive their respective embassies in Tehran and Riyadh, and are going to restart full political relations.

Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy said in a Twitter post, ties amid both main local powers are “being revived” and the embassies are “preparing to open.”

Jahanabadi also stated “This has important implications on reducing regional tensions and increasing cohesion of the Muslim world.”

Finally, he urged media and safety organizations in the world to look out for the “depravity of Zionists” and “stupidity of extremists.”
