Afghanistan - 18 individuals expelled from security ranks in Nimroz

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Eighteen individuals have been removed from the ranks of security forces in southwestern Nimroz province over various crimes.

Based on the list of the Islamic Emirate Forces in northern Nimroz province, at least 18 individuals have been expelled from security forces rank.

These persons had connection with the previous government and involved in drug addiction, corruption, hatred and theft.

Abdul Rahim Fayyaz, head of the Islamic Emirate's clearing commission in Nimroz, confirmed the list and told Pajhwok Afghan News that the men had been expelled for various crimes.

He said the drive was underway.

According to published reports, the Islamic Emirate Forces Clearance Commission in the center and provinces of the country has so far expelled more than 2,000 people from their ranks.
