The Met office has forecast unstable weather conditions across Qatar from Wednesday until the middle of next week due to an upper level low pressure system. Thundery rain is expected both offshore and inshore, in some areas at times, accompanied by strong wind causing blowing dust, low visibility and hail fall. The rainfall is forecast to range between light to moderate and heavy at times. The wind will be mostly northeasterly-southeasterly, ranging between 12-22kt, exceeding 30kt during thundery rain, causing wave height to cross 10ft. Temperatures are expected to range between 17-26C during the day and 13-20C by night. Yesterday, scattered rain was reported at northern and central areas. The minimum and maximum temperatures yesterday were 13C (Abu Samra) and 25C (Mesaieed), respectively. Cloudy conditions (pictured) prevailed at places at times. Qatar Meteorology Department has urged all to be careful during unstable weather and to avoid marine activities, as well as to follow the latest updates through its official accounts.
