Qatari Kuwaiti relations are bright throughout history

Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Qatar H E Hafeez Mohammed Al Ajmi stressed that the Qatari-Kuwaiti relations are deep and harmonious at various Gulf, Arab and international levels, adding that the bilateral relations are strengthening day after day due to the care and attention of the two wise leaderships in the fraternal countries.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of Qatar's National Day celebrations, he said that Kuwaiti-Qatari relations are full of luminous signs throughout their ancient and modern history, highlighting the ties of kinship between the two people who were united through the thick and thin and were harmonious on an honorable path in relations at Gulf, Arab and international levels.
He added that our relations do not stop at the borders of geography and proximity, as they are characterized by distinctness and the integration of destiny and stem from the relations of kinship and lineage, the unity of common goals and continuous development, which transcends the limits of diplomatic concepts.
The Ambassador valued Qatar's inauguration of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor in appreciation of the stances of H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah regarding the Gulf reunion, which was continued by H H the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, in order to preserve the security and stability of the region and the consolidation of solidarity between the Gulf Cooperation Council and all Arab countries.
He affirmed that the two countries are actively working to strengthen political and economic relations, trade exchange and cooperation in various fields in implementation of the directives of the wise leaderships in the two countries who placed building blocks to strengthen and support these relations in all fields to serve the two fraternal people.
In another context, he praised the achievements of the State of Qatar when facing the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that with the world facing economic crises and the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of Qatar has been able to withstand this pandemic and address its health and economic repercussions.
