Doha: Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (AAB), the distributor of Lexus brand in Qatar, organised a driving experience event and were honoured to have Ambassador of Japan to Qatar H E Satoshi Maeda as a guest of honour.
The journalists were given the opportunity to experience the Lexus Omotenashi and had the opportunity to test-drive the full range of the latest Lexus models.
A welcome ceremony was held at Sakura Lounge located in the Lexus showroom, where Firas Mufti, Senior Marketing Manager; and Ahmad Abusaad, Senior Sales Manager, welcomed the journalists and esteemed guests.
AAB team explained many of the new features and advanced technology of the Lexus vehicles that were to be driven by journalists.
Before the driving experience, each journalist was accompanied by a Lexus staff member to explain to him/her the latest features and how they can benefit from them in order to experience the Lexus philosophy which is 'Fun to Drive'.
The driving event included a wide range of Lexus vehicles.
The driving experience started from the Lexus Showroom and headed towards Losail Circuit where the guests had the chance to swap their seats between driver and passenger. After the first stop, the media headed back to Nobu Restaurant where they were able to extend the Japanese experience not only in automotive with Lexus but also with the Japanese cuisine.
At the end of the event, which lasted more than 6 hours, the journalists and bloggers shared their feedback on the vehicles and were able to highlight some of their experiences driving these amazing models.
Ambassador of Japan to Qatar, H E Satoshi Maeda, was the guest of honour at the Lexus event.
Some of these positive comments revolved around safety and features introduced in Lexus vehicles, as well as the level of stability and the superior control with the powerful performance and the calm interior while driving.
The driving event included a wide range of vehicles such as LS, LS Hybrid, LX, ES, ES Hybrid, LC, LC Hybrid, LC Convertible, RX, RX Hybrid, IS, UX & GX.
