Meeting between Iran, Tajikistan to discuss agricultural cooperation


(MENAFN) According to ISNA report on Tuesday, Mohammad Taghi Saberi, Iran’s Ambassador to Dushanbe and Sulaymon Rizoi Ziyozoda, the Tajik Agriculture Minister talked about increasing agricultural relations between both nations and the application of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) inked between the two counterparts for agricultural collaboration.

Saberi expressed in a social media post, that in the meeting with Rizoi Ziyozoda, the two sides looked over the methods for applying the agricultural collaboration MOU inked between both nations throughout the Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi’s trip to Tajikistan in September.

Saberi also mentioned that in the meeting they talked about boosting joint agriculture collaboration and enhancing relations between the both nations in several agricultural fields.

The Iranian president made a trip to Dushanbe to take part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference on September 18.
