(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain Serhiy Pohoreltsev met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Spain, according to the website of the Ukrainian Embassy.
“The ambassador informed those present about the current state and prospects of Ukrainian-Spanish relations, the role and place of the diplomatic mission in this process, and thanked the Ukrainian community for its assistance in preserving and spreading Ukrainian culture in Spain," the report says.
At the meeting, important issues of the Ukrainian community's life and consular services were discussed, as well as holding of joint events, in particular in the context of the Days of Ukraine in Spain next year.
"Special attention was paid to promoting the development of trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Spain," the report says.
