UK: Accommodation shareholders depart from London


(MENAFN) Shareholders seeking to trade in on Britain’s reviving rental accommodation market are ploughing their cash into a progressively more famous target said Beyond London.

Information from Knight Frank estate agent proved, around 70 per cent of shareholdings were put into expansions outside London in the first six months of 2021 as pandemic-weary residents aim at larger room and plants.

During the past four years, just around 50 percent of those numbers went to places outer London.

Oliver Knight, official of housing growth research at Knight Frank reported, “The sector’s strong regional presence is rapidly growing.”

He continued, “Lifestyle changes, as well as a desire for more space, has been a feature of the rental market over the past 12 months and has directly driven demand.”
