Cairo, Sep 15, 2021, SPA -- Arab Parliament affirmed that the cowardly terrorist act carried out today by Houthi coup militia to target Abha International Airport with a drone is a war crime and a threat to international peace and security.
In a statement today, the Arab Parliament expressed its condemnation and denunciation of this terrorist act, calling on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to take a firm and immediate stance against Houthi militia for its flagrant violation of international law and its deliberate repeated targeting of civilian and vital facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with ballistic missiles and drones.
It also urged the international community to pursue Houthi militia's leaders and financiers as well as its supporters, whether countries or groups, for supplying it with weapons.
Arab Parliament also reiterated its full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to address any threats to its security, stability and safety of its citizens.
