Foreign Minister meets Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Luigi Di Maio, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and discussed the humanitarian situation and the latest field developments in both its security and Political aspects in Afghanistan, in addition to the means of joint coordination to combat terrorism.
HE Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation thanked the State of Qatar for the assistance it provided to Italy in evacuating its citizens from Afghanistan.
