Yangtze River Delta new yuan deposits reach USD607.42B


(MENAFN) New yuan deposits in the Yangtze River Delta region reached 3.93 trillion yuan (USD607.42 billion) in the first six months of the year, increasing 287.9 billion yuan from the first half of 2020.

In line with the People's Bank of China Shanghai Head Office, new yuan loans stood at 4.43 trillion yuan in the first six months, 782.1 billion yuan lower than the first half of 2020.

At the end of June, the balance of loans in Shanghai amounted to 47.77 trillion yuan, rising 14.3 percent from the first six months of 2020.

Also, the balance of loans in Chinese yuan stood at 46.55 trillion yuan at the end of June, increasing 14.6 percent yearly, while the expansion volume reached 0.1 percentage points higher than that of the prior month, nonetheless dropped 0.2 percentage points on annual.
