(MENAFN)Turkey's jewelry sector's exports stood at USD1.4 billion, increased by 32.8 percent annual in the first quarter of the year.
The leading destination of the Turkish jewelry products was the US, amounting at USD229.6 million imports from Turkey, increased by 32.8 percent in the first four months period, on an annual basis.
The UAE (USD185.35 million), Hong Kong (USD119.67 million), Switzerland (USD88.1 million) and Libya (USD80.6 million) followed the US.
Istanbul made the biggest share by gaining 92 percent of all jewelry exports in the January-April period.
