Pakistan: Explosion leaves 3 wounded in Balochistan


(MENAFN) Police stated that on Monday, May. 10 three people comprising two personnel of paramilitary troops and a passer-by were wounded when a explosion went off in Quetta, the Pakistani southwest Balochistan province’s capital.

Police said to local media that the troops of Frontier Corps (FC) were patrolling over the city on their motorcycles when they were struck by a roadside improvised explosive device.

The wounded have been admitted to a close hospital where their condition is steady. Police barricaded off the area for probing the occurrence.

No group or individual has assumed responsibility for the assault so far.
