Greece, Bahrain agrees of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, May 6 (KUNA) -- Greece and Bahrain on Thursday announced an agreement of mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccination certificate to facilitate travel and tourism between the two countries.
In a joint statement by the Greek and the Bahraini Ministries of health said that this agreement came after recent official talks between both countries, in addition to cooperation and coordination between the Foreign Ministries and Health Ministries of both nations, the Greek News Agency reported.
The statement added, the identification process for citizens of both countries will take place digitally in the near future, in which it would enhance tourism, trade, and the economic relations between the two countries.
The agreement came along as Greece prepares itself to start its tourist season which is on May 14. (end)
