Afghanistan- Taliban destroy a bridge in Kandahar: Police

Kandahar Police reported that a bridge in the Arghandab district of the province has been destroyed following a vehicle explosion by the Taliban.
Jamal Nasir Barakzai, spokesman to Kandahar police said the incident happened on Wednesday at around 1:00 pm afternoon.
According to the reports the bridge was located in Bagh-e-Sarkari area and was destroyed by the Taliban militants.
The bridge was utilized to connect Arghandab district with Kandahar city, it was a public facility construction in the area that supported the commute and transport of daily life.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the destruction of the bridge.
Kandahar is a province located in the southern part of Afghanistan and is considered one of the most insecure provinces where the Taliban has a large presence and influence in various regions of the province.
