(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Vadym Melnyk has replaced the heads of regional offices in 10 regions.
In a post on his Facebook page, Melnyk wrote: "Today [February 23] I published the order on appointing the acting heads of regional office in 10 regions: Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia, Donetsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Ternopil, and Kharkiv regions.
Speaking about the priorities of work, Melnyk noted that "first, it is an effective fight against the shadow economy.
'Secondly, it is to ensure the financial security of the country, which is the basis of the well-being of citizens and the progressive development of Ukraine. Back in December, I said that staff replacements are necessary because they are one of the steps on the way to solving problematic issues in the service. We are building a new system, but not by destroying all previous experience and competencies, but by forming a new ethic of the institution, which will be built on order and transparency," Melnyk wrote.
As reported, Vadym Melnyk was appointed as Head of the State Fiscal Service in December 2020.
In 2014-2016, Melnyk headed the Main Investigation Department of Financial Investigations of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
