RABAT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Moroccan Ministry of Health said on Sunday that 31 people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 806 others contracted the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the overall tally to 7,942 deaths and 459,671 infections.
The recoveries surged by 988 to 434,925, the ministry said in its daily update. (end)
