China: Rise in overseas e-commerce registered in Zhejiang

(MENAFN) A strong rise in foreign e-commerce sales was witnessed in Zhejiang Province, an e-commerce heartland and foreign trade core in east China, during the January-November period of the present year.
The province's department of commerce stated that, the export value of retail trade over foreign e-commerce in Zhejiang stood at 91.16 billion yuan (around USD13.95 billion), a rise by 28.9 percent annually.
In the meantime, the retail imports of overseas e-commerce climbed 33.4 percent, reaching around USD5,18 billion, raising the province's import expansion by 1.2 percentage points.
Seven latest inclusive foreign e-commerce pilot areas were launched in the current year by the province - Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Quzhou, Taizhou and Lishui - fostering the local regime to release further supporting rules.
