Crude oil production in China rises 2.3 percent

Official data showed that the crude oil production of China increased 2.3 since a year ago to set at 16.65 million tons in August, expanding from a rise of 0.6 percent reported in July.

In the period the country has dealt with 59.47 million tons of crude oil, rising 9.2 percent since a year ago, the National Bureau of Statistics said.

In the starting eight months of the year the crude oil production in the country increased 1.5 percent since a year ago to set at 130.15 million tons, as China processed around 440 million tons of crude oil, rising 3.2 percent since the previous year.

In August, the country has imported 47.48 million tons of crude oil, increasing 12.6 percent since a year ago.
