(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, August 16, 2020, SPA -- The Founder and chairman of International Camel Organization (ICO) and Board Chairman of Camel Club, Fahd bin Hithleen has welcomed the International Year of Camelids 2024 launched by the United Nations General Assembly after a recommendation from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
He pointed out that the aim of allocating a year for camelids is to shed light on this breed and its role in human life in the field of food, transportation and coexistence.
He added that the initiatives of the international year of Camelids 2024 contribute to achieving the goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development.
