Saudi-led coalition shoots down Houthi missiles, drones

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, July 12 (KUNA) -- The Saudi-led military coalition fighting Yemen's Iran-allied Houthi group said on Sunday it had intercepted two ballistic missiles and six drones laden with explosives launched by the militia towards the kingdom.
The missiles and drones were launched from the Houthi-controlled Yemeni Province of Sanaa, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited coalition spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki as saying.
He stressed that the coalition would take decisive actions to deprive Houthi militia of these destructive capabilities and to help save innocent lives in line with established humanitarian laws and conventions. (end)
