Oman: 603 persons contract COVID-19 bug


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MUSCAT, May 30 (KUNA) -- Oman's Ministry of Health announced on Saturday registration of 603 new positive cases with Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Sultanate, saying 206 of the new cases were Omanis and 343 others were foreigners.
With the new cases, total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the Sultanate climbed to 10,423, in addition to 42 death cases.
The ministry also pointed out that 2,396 people who were sick due to contamination with the communicable germ recovered. (end)
