COVID-19 cases hit 216 in Kyrgyzstan, death toll at 4


(MENAFN) Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Health announced on Monday the total figure of patients who have tested posotive for the COVID-19 so far in the country has risen to 216 as 69 more cases were reported during the day.

ِAll the newly-confirmed COVID-19 infections are for patients who have been subjected to medical supervision in the designated quarantine facilities in the country, reporters quoted Minister of Health Sabirzhan Abdikarimov as saying in a press release held earlier in Monday.


The death toll from the most infectious disease has risen to four as two more patients were reported dead during the day, the minister declared.

Furthermore, local hospitals have discharged a total of 19 patients upon showing improvement, with the figure rising by 10 more cases reported today, Monday, Abdikarimov included.
