Jordan- Palestinian foreign ministry condemns Israeli settlement expansion in occupied Hebron

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Dec. 8 (Petra) -- The international silence about the Israeli-American incursion on the Palestinians' rights would cost the United Nations what it has left of its credibility, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said Sunday.
The ministry underscored that "once again the Israeli outgoing Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, insists on repeating his promises and demands to annex the Jordan Valley and demarcate the eastern borders of the occupation state and secure an American and international recognition."
The ministry reaffirmed its condemnation of positions and declarations announced by Israeli Army Minister, Naftali Bennett, whether those concerning controlling the Old Town in Hebron and plans to set thousands of housing settlement units in the heart of the city, or those regarding the demolition of Palestinian installations and building classified under territory "C."
It held the Israeli government, headed by Netanyahu, and U.S. President Donald Trump's administration fully responsible for fallout and ramifications of Netanyahu and Bennett's decisions.
